Tahun ini ada beberapa smartphone dari Android maupun iPhone yang udah gak ngebisa jalanin aplikasi WhatsApp. Coba cek yuk Anak Trax, siapa tau diantaranya ada smartphone lo.
Aplikasi WhatsApp terbaru saat ini hanya mampu dijalanin oleh sistem operasi Android 4.1 ke atas dan iOS 12 atau yang lebih baru serta dan KaiOS 2.5.0. WhatsApp sendiri bakal ngasih pemberitahuan apabila smartphone tersebut sudah gak lagi didukung dengan update terbaru.
“Untuk memilih apa yang akan dihentikan dukungannya, setiap tahun kami, seperti perusahaan teknologi lainnya, melihat perangkat dan software apa yang paling lawas dan memiliki jumlah pengguna yang paling sedikit,” kata WhatsApp dalam laman FAQ.
“Perangkat-perangkat ini juga mungkin tidak memiliki update keamanan terbaru, atau mungkin tidak memiliki fungsionalitas yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan WhatsApp,” sambungnya.
Solusi satu-satunya bagi yang smartphone-nya gak bisa lagi ngegunain aplikasi WhatsApp adalah dengan ganti smartphone dengan sistem operasi yang masih didukung.
