BTS dan UI Mendominasi Di Gaon Chart Music Awards ke-11

Gaon Chart Music Awards yang ke-11 baru aja digelar nih Anak Trax, pada 27 Januari kemarin di Jamsil Arena. Ajang penghargaan untuk para musisi Korea Selatan ini dipandu oleh JaeJAe, Sieun STAYC, dan Doyoung NCT.

Sejumlah idol K-pop turut meriahin Gaon Chart Music Awards yang ke-11 ini. Mulai dari NCT 127, NCT DREAM, STAYC, Kang Daniel, THE BOYZ, Red Velvet, Brave Girls, SHINee, Standing Egg, Oh My Girl, Lee Mujin, Lee Chan Won, Lim Young Woong, Taeyeon Girls ‘Generation, hingga Homies tampil di acara.

Untuk pemenang dari Gaon Chart Music Awards sendiri dinilai berdasarkan performa lagu serta album di Gaon Music Chart. Sementara untuk Artist of the Year dibagi dalam kategori digital musik dan album fisik.

Penghargaan Artist of the Year untuk kategori digital musik dipilih berdasarkan jumlah unduhan dan streaming tertinggi untuk setiap bulannya dari Desember 2020 hingga November 2021 dari idol K-pop. Sementara untuk penghargaan album fisik diberikan kepada album dengan penjualan tertinggi untuk setiap kuartal selama periode yang sama.

BTS memborong piala di Gaon Chart Music Awards ke-11 ini dengan total raihan 5 piala. Selain BTS, solois IU juga berhasil mendominasi dengan meraih lima piala, termasuk kembali memenangkan kategori Lyricist of the Year.
