Kejahatan dunia seperti hacker dan spammer, lambat laun ternyata dapat memperburuk ekonomi di tahun 2009.
Dalam laporan McAfee terbaru diungkapkan, serangan kejahatan yang menyertakan virus, bisa membuat ekonomi melambat. Apalagi serangan tersebut mampu menyerang pengguna pribadi maupun pelaku bisnis.
McAfee menambahkan, perusahaan akan mengeluarkan biaya tambahan untuk menjaga perusahaannya dari kemungkinan buruk yang terjadi pada divisi IT mereka. Padahal ini tidak sejalan dengan kondisi ekonomi yang masih diterpa badai krisis.
Tahun 2009 juga menjadi tahun ‘kebangkitan’ dari USB dan CD, yang dapat mentransfer virus dari satu komputer ke komputer lain. Meski, USB lebih gampang untuk diatasi virusnya, McAfee memperingatkan agar perusahaan untuk terus waspada.
