JK Rowling Akan Membangun Rumah Pohon Ala Hogwarts
Anak-anaknya akan merasakan petualangan ala Harry Potter di rumah mereka sendiri.
Pastinya beruntung banget ya anak-anak dari sosok yang dikenal sebagai Ibu dari Kisah Fantasi Modern, JK Rowling. Gimana nggak, Rowling udah punya rencana untuk membuat rumah pohon dengan konsep ala Hogwarts di mansion miliknya di Edinburgh untuk kedua anaknya David, 9 tahun, dan Mackenzie, 7 tahun. Desain 3D untuk rumah pohon ini sudah dirilis oleh Blue Forest UK, sebuah perusahaan arsitek pembuat rumah pohon terkenal di UK. Rumah pohon ini akan terdiri dari dua buah kastil, masing-masing untuk David dan Kenzie, keduanya dilengkapi balkon dan dihubungkan oleh sebuah jembatan kayu. Berdasarkan desain tersebut, dijelaskan juga bahwa kastil David merupakan yang terdekat dengan sebuah lorong rahasia, pintu perangkap, dan fireman’s pole untuk melarikan diri ke kebun. Sedangkan untuk kastil Kenzie terdapat tanggal spiral, perosotan, dan dua buah ayunan. Selain itu ada juga dek kayu yang mengarah ke sebuah trampoline raksasa yang tidak terlalu terlihat karena tertutupi pepohonan di sekitarnya.
Pembangunan rumah pohon ini memakan area yang cukup luas dan berukuran cukup besar, karena itu pembangunannya pun memerlukan izin terlebih dahulu. Biayanya sendiri diperkirakan bisa mencapai 150.000 poundsterling. Hm, mungkin nggak masalah ya buat sosok yang disebut-sebut memiliki kekayaan sebesar 560 juta poundsterling berdasarkan 2012 Sunday Times Rich List dan sudah menyumbangkan sebesar 100 juta poundsterling untuk amal. Tapi pastinya JK Rowling ingin menghidupkan kastil fantasi untuk anak-anaknya, karena sesuai yang diucapkan Andy Payne, Managing Director dari Blue Forest sendiri, rumah pohon selalu menjadi sebuah simbol akan kreatifitas dan imajinasi.
