Jennie BLACKPINK segara comeback solo dalam waktu dekat. OOD ATELIER, agensi pribadi Jennie mengatakan bahwa Jennie sedang mengerjakan album barunya.
Namun, agensi saat ini belum bisa memastikan detail tanggal comeback solo Jennie.
“Jennie sedang mengerjakan albumnya, tetapi tanggal comeback belum ditentukan,” ungkap keterangan resmi agensi, seperti yang diberitakan Korea JoongAng Daily, Minggu (31/3).
Pernyataan agensi dirilis setelah beredar kabar Jennie BLACKPINK akan merilis album solo terbarunya pada Juni 2024. Kabar tersebut dilaporkan oleh media lokal Korea.
Album barunya akan menjadi proyek solo terbaru Jennie setelah merilis berbagai single. Jennie baru saja comeback dengan single You & Me, hingga merilis soundtrack serial The Idol berjudul One of the Girls bersama dengan Abel Tesfaye dan Lily-Rose Depp.
Comeback kali ini merupakan comeback pertamanya sejak ia meninggalkan YG Entertainment dan mendirikan labelnya sendiri.
Meskipun Jennie tidak lagi menandatangani kontrak bersama dengan YG Entertainment secara individu, namun aktivitas grup BLACKPINK masih berada di bawah naungan YG Entertainment.
