Ernest Prakasa Siap Garap Film Agak Laen 2
Film Agak Laen merupakan salah satu film horor komedi yang menjadi film terlaris sepanjang masa. Film ini dirilis pertama kali pada 1 Februari 2024, dan mendapatkan respons yang positif dari penontonnya.
Film ini merupakan karya Imajinari Pictures, rumah produksi buatan Ernest Prakasa dan Dipa Andika.
Setelah 98 hari penayangan, film Agak Laen resmi turun dari layar dengan total 9.125.188 penonton.
Kabar ini disampaikan langsung oleh sang produser, Ernest Prakasa melalui akun instagramnya.
“Sah ya, akhirnya @pilem.agak.laen turun layar setelah 98 hari. Terimakasih banyak buat semua pemain, kru, dan tentunya, penonton se-Indonesia yang udah jadi bagian dari perjalanan ajaib ini,” tulis keterangan dari Instagram @ernestprakasa pada Kamis (9/5).
Ernest juga mengungkapkan bahwa film Agak Laen 2 resmi akan digarap.
“Kuartet Beni-Boris-Jegel-Oki akan kembali dengan karakter dan cerita baru,” imbuhnya.
Namun, Ernest belum bisa memastikan kapan sequel film ini akan mulai produksi dan kemungkinan film Agak Laen 2 tidak diproduksi dalam waktu dekat.
“Kapan? Yah gausah buru-buru lah, kan kita perlu siapin naskah yang bagus dulu, bebannya berat cuy,” tulisnya.
Melansir dari Tinemu, film Agak Laen 2 tidak melanjutkan cerita dari film pertamanya, sebab sang Produser ingin konsep film ini seperti film Warkop DKI. Jadi, setiap filmnya para aktor akan memerankan karakter dengan nama yang sama, tetapi dengan latar belakang berbeda dan cerita yang baru.
