Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
Sekuel dari Sherlock Holmes sutradara Guy Ritchie ini berhasil mendapatkan keuntungan dua kali lipat dari budget produksi. Walaupun mendapat review yang cukup beragam dari para kritikus, banyak yang memuji dan tidak sedikit juga yang mencela, film ini bisa dibilang lebih sukses secara komersil dibanding film terdahulunya. Jumlah pendapatannya yang banyak tersebut adalah hasil dari pembuatan film yang dikerjakan dengan sangat baik.
Sinematografi seperti slow motion dalam beberapa adegan hasilnya sangat oke. Cinematographer film ini – Philippe Rousselot – selain pernah menjadi juri di Festival Film Cannes 1995, ia juga pernah memenangkan piala Oscar. Perpaduan akting dari Robert Downey Jr (Sherlock Holmes) dan Jude Law (Dr. John Watson) juga keren banget!
Ceritanya berawal dari tewasnya pangeran mahkota Austria. Walaupun penyelidikan resmi Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan) menyatakan bahwa sang pangeran meninggal karena bunuh diri, Sherlock Holmes curiga bahwa pangeran tersebut dibunuh. Konflik memanas ketika mereka akhirnya bertemu dengan musuh bebuyutan mereka, Professor Moriarty, yang menjadi dalang pembunuhan ini. Film yang digarap secara kolosal dan memakai biaya lebih besar 30 juta dollar dari prekuelnya ini bisa di tonton di akhir pekan, Anak Trax.
