Rekomendasi karya seni spesial di Art Jakarta 2017
Tentu Anda masih ingat momen berfoto di dalam sebuah jeruji besi berwarna merah yang dibentuk menyerupai tas wanita? Instalasi mencolok tersebut merupakanbuah karya seniman Sri Astari, yang menjadi bagian dari proyek khusus gelaran Art Jakarta 2016 lalu.
Hal serupa, dan bahkan lebih mengagumkan, dapat kembali dinikmati di gelaran Art Jakarta 2017 yang akan berlangsung pada 28 sampai 30 Juli 2017 mendatang di Grand Ballroom The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place.
Namun sebelumnya, kenali dulu makna di balik karya-karya mengagumkan di bawah ini, dan mulailah berpikir tentang gaya foto seperti apa yang akan Anda lakukan nanti.
1. Immortelle Field oleh Patricia Untario
Instalasi berbentuk rumah kaca ini menggunakan bunga immortelle sebagai subjek utama karena memiliki filosofi keabadian di baliknya. Karya ini dipersembahkan oleh L’Occitane.
2. Pandemonium Paradise oleh Antonio S. Sinaga
Antonio Sinaga “meminjam” komposisi Bosch, seniman di era Medieval yang memberikan simbol-simbol pada kekacauan yang terjadi di era penuh perang tersebut. Lukisan Antonio melukis 100 opini yang mencerminkan sebuah cerita kehancuran yang diakibatkan oleh ulah manusia. Karya ini dapat Anda beli dan nomor lukisannya akan ditentukan dengan undian acak. Hasil penjualan karya ini akan disumbangkan ke Yayasan Kanker Payudara Indonesia.
3. Instalasi Patrick Owen
Seni rupa telah menjadi bagian dari perjalanan Patrick sebagai seorang desainer fashion. Dalam koleksinya selama ini, ia telah berkolaborasi dengan banyak seniman seperti Anton Ismael, Emte, Fajar P. Domingo, dan Tatiana Romanova Surya yang diwujudkan di atas material kain. Karya-larya ini akan kembali dibawakan di Art Jakarta 2017.
4. Melencolia I (Java of Durer #2) oleh Eddy Susanto
Sama seperti Leonardo Da Vinci, lukisan Albrecht Durer selalu menyimpan simbol-simbol religius yang sakral, termasuk pada Melencolia I. Lima abad setelahnya, Eddy Susanto mengadaptasi hal ini dengan menyebar simbol sakral dari kebudayaan Jawa pada Melencolia I (Java of Durer #2) dengan menghubungkan era Renaisans dengan kebudayaan Jawa.
5. Heaven is Mindset oleh Franziska Fennert

Mengutip catatan kuratorial Anton Larenz, “Fransziska Fennert menunjukkan ada jalan untuk mengatasi antagonisme dan menemukan persatuan kembali, di tengah perbedaan dan perpisahan.” Melalui karyanya, Franziskan mencoba menunjukkan peran seni rupa sebagai salah satu jalur diplomasi.
6. Papilem Series oleh Edwin Rahardjo
Pencinta seni dan pemilik galeri yang juga adalah seorang seniman ini konsisten menampilkan karya seni kinetik. Karya seni Edwin terinspirasi dari ketertarikannya terhadap keindahan gerakan dan warna sayap kupu-kupu yang ia temui saat mengunjungi Papua. Gerakan ini juga tentunya akan didukung oleh efek tata cahaya yang memukau.
7. High-End Dreams oleh Naufal Abshar
Karya seni ini merupakan refleksi diri Naufal, menemukan identitas, visi, dan mimpi-mimpinya. Sosok astronot mencerminkan impiannya. Ia percaya bahwa kehidupan seperti alam semesta yang misterius dan masih banyak yang harus ditemukan.
8. Seke – Ciwaruga oleh Zico Albaiquni
Sumber air merupakan lokasi yang penting secara historis karena menjadi tempat berkumpul sebuah komunitas, bukan hanya untuk keperluan dasar namun juga untuk ritual religius. Zico merekam fenomena ini di sumber air di Ciwaruga. Seke adalah kata dalam bahasa Sunda klasik yang berarti sumber air.
