Obama buat iri para penggemar Game of Thrones
Ketika para penggemar di seluruh dunia sangat menanti kelanjutan cerita dalam serial Game of Thrones season 6, Presiden Amerika Serikat, yaitu Barrack Obama mendapatkan hak istimewa dari HBO selaku rumah produksi, Jumat [15/4].
Karena tidak sabar menunggu, Obama meminta salinan serial yang diadaptasi dari novel karya George R.R Martin tersebut kepada HBO supaya dapat menontonnya terlebih dahulu sebelum ditayangkan perdana kepada publik pada 24 April mendatang di seluruh dunia.
Kabar tersebut dibenarkan oleh Eksekutif Produser, DB Weiss dan David Benoiff, saat penayangan perdana di Hollywood, Senin (10/4) kemarin.
“Dia pemimpin dunia”, ujar Weiss dilansir dari Hollywoodreporter.
Benoiff juga menambahkan,
”Ketika pemimpi komanda mengatakan ‘saya ingin episode selanjutnya’, kamu bisa apa?”
Benoiff dan Weiss juga berharap kepada Presiden ke-44 Amerika Serikat tersebut, tidak menceritakan serial tersebut kepada siapapun.
Obama sendiri pernah menanyakan kepada Sang Sutradara, David Nutter, pada tahun lalu di Gedung Putih ketika mengetahui ikon Jon Snow meninggal.
“Kamu tidak membunuh Jon Snow kan?”, ujar Obama kepada David.
“Jon Snow sudah lebih daripada mati”, jawab David dengan bercanda.
Waah, enak yaa, Obama! Walaupun belum bisa menonton kelanjutan Game of Thrones season 6, yuk, kita lihat dulu trailer-nya di bawah ini!
