Danilla Rilis Lagu ‘MPV’ Yang Terinspirasi Dari TikTok
Musisi Danilla Riyadi baru aja ngerilis lagu sekaligus video klip terbarunya berjudul MPV. Di lagu ini Danilla menunjukkan sisi aslinya dengan penulisan lirik yang lebih jujur dan lebih berani dibandingin lagu-lagunya terdahulu.
Danilla Riyadi memperkenalkan karya terbarunya ‘MPV’ yang dikerjakan bersama produser Otta Tarega. Di lagu ‘MVP’-nya ini Danilla coba untuk lebih mengalir dan lebih jujur dalam penulisan liriknya.
“Proses penciptaan bagan dan lirik untuk lagu ini mengalir begitu aja, waktu itu aku lagi bangun tidur dan langsung teringat sama nada yang dikasih oleh Otta (produser),” ucap Danilla Riyadi melalui sesi dengar virtual (02/01/22).
Melalui pemilihan lirik yang lebih bright pada karya terbarunya ini, Danilla berusaha untuk ninggalin kesan muram pada dirinya di album-album terdahulu seperti album Telisik pada tahun 2014. Selain itu, Danilla mengaku lagu ‘MPV’ juga terinspirasi dari fenomena-fenomena yang ada di media sosial TikTok.
“Selain menjadi bentuk teguran halus terhadap fenomena media sosial yang menjadi pusat perhatian sejak dua tahun terakhir, lagu ini juga menjadi penegasan dari diriku untuk memperkenalkan Danilla saat ini, bukan melulu tentang Danilla pada album ‘Telisik’,” tegasnya.
Selama pandemi, Danilla sering kali melihat fenomena-fenomena yang ngebuatnya kaget di TikTok. Terutama bagaimana TikTok bisa nyiptain one hit wonder dari musisi.
“Thanks untuk TikTok dan fenomena one hit wonder-nya, aku jadi banyak belajar tentang bagaimana publik menyikapi hadirnya musik yang hadir saat ini. Berangkat melalui keresahan tersebut, aku semakin mengerti musik seperti apa yang harus aku ciptakan,” jelas Danilla.
“Jadi kurang lebih secara nggak langsung, TikTok turut memengaruhi dan membentuk diriku saat ini yang diwakilkan oleh lagu ‘MPV’,” tambahnya.
