BTS Catat Sejarah Dengan Memasukkan Lagu Bahasa Korea Pertama di Grammy Awards

Belum lama ini nominasi 65th Grammy Awards udah diumumkan Anak Trax, salah satu artis yang mencatat rekor baru adalah BTS.

BTS berhasil menjadi perwakilan dari Korea yang memasukkan lagu bahasa Korea ke dalam nominasi pertama sepanjang sejarah Grammy Awards. Lagu berbahsa Korea pertama di nominasi Grammy Awards itu berjudul “Yet to Come”.

Tahun ini, BTS mendapatkan 3 diantaranya adalah Best Music Video (Yet To Come), Best Pop Duo/Group (My Universe) bersama Coldplay serta Album of the Year (Music of the Spheres) menjadi salah satu featuring artis di album Coldplay.

Selain itu, BTS juga menjadi satu-satunya artis yang mendapatkan nominasi 3 kali berturut-turut untuk kategori Best Pop Duo/Group, yaitu ‘Dynamite’ tahun 2021, ‘Butter’ tahun 2022 serta yang terbaru ‘My Universe’ tahun 2023 (bersama Coldplay).

Kemudian, Grammy Awards juga menunjuk Boy Grup ini sebagai pembawa acara penghargaan, penampil dari panggung kolaborasinya, dan nominasinya sebanyak tiga kali. Di ajang penghargaan Grammy Awards 2023 nanti banyak yang prediksi kalau BTS bakal meraih penghargaan Grammy pertama mereka.

Jimin pernah bilnag, “Aku sangat sedih. Sebagai orang Korea, aku bertanya-tanya seberapa jauh jangkauan musik kami, dan aku pikir ini akan menjadi cara yang bagus bagi kami untuk membalas ARMY, jadi aku sangat ingin menerimanya penghargaannya.”
