Pernah gak sih mau pergi ke suatu tempat, tapi transportasi umum lagi pada penuh atau terlalu malas bawa kendaraan pribadi karena padatnya jalanan ibukota?

Hal ini sering terjadi, karena satu hal Anak Trax, KEMACETAN. Kota Jakarta terkenal dengan kemacetannya yang semakin parah. Dengan kondisi tersebut yang terjadi setiap hari, menurut Direktur Utama PT MRT Jakarta Dono Boestami mengutip dari data Study on Integrated Transportarion Master Plan II 2004, di acara Dialog Jakarta Baru 2, Membangun Sistem Transportasi Jakarta Baru, di PDS HB Jassin, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (28/5/2013) total kerugian materilnya mencapai Rp 12,8 triliun per tahun.

Gila gak Anak Trax?

Salah satu jalan keluarnya adalah dengan memperbaiki fasilitas transportasi umum. Jika tidak ada kemajuan, diperkirakan tahun 2020 mencapai kerugian 65 triliun rupiah!

Banyak hal yang dilakukan oleh generasi penerus bangsa untuk memperbaiki dan mengurangi kemacetan di kota Jakarta. Salah satunya adalah teman-teman dari Nebengers. Anak Trax sering dong, kalau pulang sekolah atau kuliah, lalu cari teman yang searah pulangnya terus bisa nebeng sama dia. Nah, ini yang dilakukan oleh mereka.

Nebengers secara resmi terbentuk pada tanggal 7 Desember tahun 2011. Awalnya Nebengers merupakan gerakan sosial yang berfungsi untuk menyebarkan semangat berbagi kendaraan kepada teman-teman. Anak Trax tentu sudah jenuh dengan lalu lintas Ibukota yang semrawut dan fasilitas kendaraan umum yang tidak memadai. Nah, daripada sekadar mengeluh, menunggu pemerintah untuk melakukan perbaikan transportasi umum dan mengurai macet, ada baiknya kita memanfaatkan sumber daya yang dimiliki, yaitu kendaraan pribadi. Ide ini tercetus karena perbandingan jumlah kendaraan umum & kendaraan pribadi adalah 2% : 98%. Karena itu, ada baiknya kendaraan pribadi bisa berkolaborasi dengan kendaraan umum untuk meningkatkan mobilisasi masyarakat.

Keamanannya gimana ya, kan kalau masalah tebeng-menebang agak riskan , terus caranya gimana?

Platform yang digunakan Nebengers adalah social media (twitter), poin reputasi di website, serta pengembangan komunitas melalui kopi darat.
