Album lanjutan “Come Around Sundown”

Anak Trax, band rock alternatif asal Amerika Serikat, Kings of Leon, dalam waktu dekat akan meluncurkan album ketiga mereka -perkiraan September mendatang. Kabar tersebut datang langsung dari bassist Jared Followill.

Album yang belum diketahui namanya ini akan menjadi lanjutan dari album Come Around Sundown yang dirilis pada 2010. Sejak saat itu, para anggota Kings of Leon sibuk dengan urusan pribadi masing-masing. Nathan dan Caleb Followill menjadi ayah, sementara Jared bertunangan dan meluncurkan debut album mini proyek sampingannya bersama Nick Brown, Smoke and Jackal.

Menurut Rolling Stone, ada kemungkinan penggemar dapat mendengar lagu-lagu baru tersebut sebelum bulan September melihat jadwal tur konser Kings of Leon pada musim panas ini. 

Sejak terbentuk pada 1999, Kings of Leon tercatat telah meluncurkan 5 album. Kesuksesan besar diraih oleh kuartet ini pada 2010 ketika membawa pulang piala Grammy Awards dalam kategori Record of the Year, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, dan Best Rock Song untuk lagu “Use Somebody”.
