Ketika para hewan ikutan ajang pencari bakat di film Sing

Gimana ya, kalau hewan seperti babi, kelinci, domba, dan siput ikutan ajang pencarian bakat layaknya American Idol? Ini dia cerita yang diangkat ke sebuah film berjudul Sing.

Sukses dengan film Despicable Me dan Minions, Illumination Entertainment kembali berkarya dalam film terbaru Sing. Trailer film ini sendiri telah dirilis pada Senin (15/2) waktu setempat.

Berkisah tentang seekor koala bernama Buster Moon (Matthew McGonaughey) yang membuka sebuah audisi menyanyi, dengan harapan bisa menyelamatkan teater yang dimilikinya.

Semua hewan yang mendapatkan informasi audisi tersebut seketika memadati teater milik Buster untuk berunjuk gigi di hadapan Buster. Para peserta audisi tersebut menyanyikan lagu yang cukup dikenal di telinga kita seperti Bad Romance milik Lady Gaga, ataupun Anaconda milik Nicki Minaj.

Disutradarai oleh Garth Jennings yang pernah bekerjasama dengan sejumlah musisi untuk music video Radiohead, Vampire Weekend, Beck, dan Blur. 

Cerita ini berfokus pada Buster yang ingin menggelar kompetisi menyanyi terbaik di dunia dan 5 kontestan utama yaitu seekor tikus (Seth MacFarlen), seekor gajah (Tori Kelly), seekor babi (Reese Witherspoon), seekor gorilla (Taron Egerton), dan seekor landak (Scarlett Johansson).

Rencana film ini akan dirilis pada Desember 2016.
