Uber bekerja sama dengan NASA membuat Uber Elevate atau UberAir untuk mengatasi kemacetan di jalanan.
Nah, kabarnya NASA sudah menandatangani agreement untuk membuatkan air-traffic-control system untuk proyek baru Uber ini.
Uber Chief Product Officer, Jeff Holden, mengatakan bahwa Los Angeles dan Dallas dipilih Uber sebagai kota untuk meluncurkan proyek tersebut.
Pihak Uber mengharapkan agar UberAir ini sudah dapat beroperasi sebelum Los Angeles menjadi tuan rumah Olympic di tahun 2028.
“Technology will allow L.A. residents to literally fly over the city’s historically bad traffic, giving them time back to use in far more productive ways, we expect UberAir will perform tens of thousands of flights each day across the city.”
